Job Description

We operate on a 24/7 schedule with three rotating shifts. While all new hires will start on the 1st shift (Monday through Friday) from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, after one to two months, employees may transition to other shifts based on their role and workload needs:

  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM

General Description
This role will begin with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift, with opportunities for overtime available frequently.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Technician responsible for inspecting materials and products to ensure they meet internal quality standards and comply with external guidelines. This role involves evaluating in-process and finished goods, identifying defects, and maintaining detailed records, which are used to help improve production processes and resolve recurring quality issues. Working as a critical member of our manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality production standards are met while supporting overall operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement company and regulatory standards to ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct and document chemical and physical testing to evaluate material and product quality.
  • Audit and review product data, ensuring compliance with quality procedures.
  • Track defective materials in records, performing root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Identify and assist in reclassification/disposition of rejected materials or nonconforming products.
  • Investigate product complaints, ensuring resolution aligns with company and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures and quality control measures.
  • Provide technical reporting and assistance to department leads to address ongoing quality or operational concerns.
  • Perform process audits and recommend improvements in manufacturing procedures.
  • Collaborate with production teams to achieve high-quality output and address recurring quality issues.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in metallurgy, chemistry, or a related field. Five years of Quality Assurance experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment, or a combination of education and relevant training.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance practices, methods, and tools for manufacturing.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, business reports, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to create technical reports and effectively deliver solutions to management and team members.
  • Proficiency with mathematical concepts, including statistical analysis, geometry, and practical application of percentages and ratios.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database software tools as they relate to quality assurance activities.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced manufacturing environments, including best practices for efficiency and problem resolution.
